Be a Part of BOTH our History and our Future!
The construction of a new healthcare complex in Meeker not only continues to honor the legacy Freeman Fairfield sparked by the opening of Pioneers Hospital in 1950, but it builds on our ongoing pride in providing excellent care to our community. The next evolution of Pioneers Medical Center will elevate the care we have all come to count on and provide the safe, comfortable, reliable and advanced medical resources that we, our families, our grandkids and our great-grandchildren can put their trust in.
The leaders of Pioneers Medical Center have worked hard for years to build a vision and financial plan that allows for a responsible and responsive new facility. But to truly design the best future for our community, we need your support.
How to Show You Care
We hope that community members and businesses will recognize the value in having a modern facility and high-quality services closer to home and want to be a part of this exciting new project.
The new medical facility will of course provide the care you have come to rely on, but we hope to address our changing community by adding new technology, services and resources. We are currently developing an array of options for you to show your Pioneering Spirit and support hometown healthcare in Meeker and Rio Blanco County. Stay tuned for details, or please consider giving to the Pioneers Healthcare Foundation’s Pioneering Spirit Campaign in support of the new Pioneers Medical Center!
The Pioneers Healthcare Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization with the mission to raise philanthropic dollars for healthcare programs, services and equipment that will strengthen our community’s healthcare capacity. Its aim is to allow for the highest quality medical services and programs; provide new programs and improved technologies; and allow for enhanced access to cost-effective healthcare. The Foundation hopes to inspire compassion in our community today and for generations to come – and the Next Generation Pioneers Medical Center is all of this and more!
