As such, Pioneers must meet or exceed all federal healthcare standards and expectations.“ I was very impressed with the professional, courteous and caring attitudes of ALL the nurses and the doctor…it is nice to know that we do have caring, knowledgeable professionals available to us when we need them.” – Michele, Meeker Resident

Long-term relationships with regional medical centers – including St. Mary’s in Grand Junction and Valley View in Glenwood Springs – allow Pioneers Medical Center’s patients access to innovative hospital procedures, complex surgical services, oncology care and subspecialty physicians. Pioneers hosts visiting specialists at our facility and can coordinate care, testing and therapies with doctors located at other medical offices.
For people with severe traumatic, neurological, advanced surgical, critical care or unique acute care needs, Pioneers Medical Center partners with CareFlite® to transport patients to the best suited medical facility. Pioneers Medical Center also works closely with Memorial Hospital in Craig, in addition to St. Mary’s Hospital, to refer families for obstetric care.
These time-tested relationships foster more efficient communications across facilities and help ensure that each person who chooses Pioneers Medical Center for their medical home can be confident he or she is receiving the best care.
