Life-Long Wellness and Healthy Families Are Our Passion

Pioneers Medical Center offers community education, events and medical screenings as part of its dedication to helping people live longer, healthier lives.

The Meeker Family Health Center is a vital part of Pioneers Medical Center, providing care for wellness and preventative services, women’s wellness, pediatric care and senior care. The convenient location and skilled medical team allow area residents, workers and visitors access to primary care, minor office procedures and appropriate testing close to home, work and play – helping to eliminate timely and cumbersome trips to outlying facilities.

Administered by the hospital and Meeker Family Health Center, the Trails to Health program is specifically focused on preventative care to provide early detection and treatment of disease and to share resources for maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle. In one comprehensive program, Trails to Health provides an annual physical, blood tests, recommended health screenings and a supportive “medical home” to guide patients through establishing and maintaining personal health goals. The Trails to Health program was specifically structured to be covered by wellness benefits offered through most insurance plans.

Pioneers’ philosophy is centered on building partnerships within our community, so preventative healthcare and life-long health may become a common goal.

Pioneers supports healthier living

Community programs routinely offered by Pioneers Medical Center include:

  • Quit Smart – a four-week tobacco cessation program that helps people gradually break their dependence on cigarettes and other tobacco products using all available tools, from meditation to medication.
  • Free Blood Pressure Clinics – a great opportunity to monitor your blood pressure at this community event hosted on the third Wednesday of each month.
  • Foot Care Clinics – a monthly service to wash feet and trim nails is offered on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
Pioneers Medical Center often hosts disease prevention and education seminars, charity fun runs/walks, medical screening opportunities and school presentations and is an active participant in the annual 9News Health Fair.
