Pioneers acknowledges the power and potential in providing excellent care through a holistic, comprehensive, and collaborative care model. We achieve our goals by providing our employees with multidisciplinary training opportunities and promoting continuous, evidence-based education. Because Pioneers believes that formal education has a positive impact on an employee’s contributions to our community, we support self-development and educational efforts by providing reimbursement for many of the expenses associated with continuing education and CE courses. Our CNA program is designed to recruit employees, local students, and area residents and educate them so that they can sit for a qualifying board exam to become a certified nursing aid in the State of Colorado. Annually, the Pioneers Healthcare Foundation operates a round of scholarship applications and giving that our employees are eligible for if they choose to seek a medical or non-clinical health degree. From undergraduate degrees in nursing or respiratory therapy to post-graduate work in nursing, pharmacology, and even medicine, we value the time and effort our employees put into bettering themselves to better serve our community.
