September Employee of the Month | Dawn Michels

Dawn demonstrates a spirit of Exceptional Customer Service as she is always willing to go above and beyond her regular duties. On numerous occasions, she has provided meals for special events, cakes for last minute birthday parties, and any dietary supplies, needs and staff help for holiday activities for Wing or hospital functions. She has often been asked to “pull something together” at the last minute for a meal or meeting that someone forgot or there wasn’t time to notify dietary for. She always comes through with a wonderful meal. She has assisted the Employee Committee in numerous fundraisers and assisted whenever needed to provide help, supplies, and food for the employee potluck dinners. She chipped in to plant and water flowers to beautify our facility and has been known to come in on her day off for special functions or just to help out. Dawn continually strives for customer satisfaction by asking for input from employees as to their preferences in food services and providing specialty menus. Dawn takes pride in providing the best dietary service to Pioneers Medical Center patients and staff.
